| The Bubble Economy
In recent weeks, the Fed's and the world's other central banks have poured hundreds of billions of dollars into credit markets so that risk-averse banks keep lending against shaky collateral. This in turn keeps the price of that collateral — bonds, stocks, real estate — from sinking still farther in a 1929-style meltdown. However, once a bubble bursts, low interest rates can't necessarily revive it; the Fed can cheapen money, but it can't make anxious creditors put it at risk. The other story we all learn in Economics 101 is that ever since Franklin D. (Television) shows like 'The Biggest Loser' (a weight-loss challenge show) helps my business, but it gives people false hope. You're not going to lose 19 pounds in a week. These people are living on a ranch." One thing to consider is whether you want a personal trainer. Nunes, who's been a trainer for more than two decades, says people can get lost in big gyms. Wikia Search makes its debut
Wikia Search launched Monday in an effort to build a credible online search engine that uses human input to answer queries — the same concept that built the popular Wikipedia encyclopedia. Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, who is also behind Wikia Search, says his goal is to let volunteers improve search technology collectively, the way Wikipedia lets anyone add or change entries, regardless of expertise. Wales is the chairman of Wikia Inc., the for-profit venture behind the search project. The company plans to make money by selling ads. The idea is to have volunteers rate search results based on quality and relevance. Wikia will then gradually build a ranking of web pages based on those evaluations. Still in its early stage of development, the site offers a disclaimer.

I was talking to Kobe a lot, and I never talked to Kobe ever in my life. He reached out, was like, 'Come to the Lakers.' He said, 'We're going to get you here.' Next day, I got an apartment in Hollywood, I moved some of my stuff, and I was in L.A. for two months, just waiting to be a Laker.

Sometimes you have to send soldiers over the top to make sure the other side's machine guns are still working. They are. Sorry, Senator. ... ** More on McCain: The day of the vote, according to Powerline, McCain said he probably would have voted against cloture because he understood that the Democrats were not going to allow amendments. McCain stated, "I don't think that we can pass the Dream Act by itself." [E.A.] The next day, in a blogger call, the qualifiers were gone and McCain told us that he would have voted against cloture (i.e., in favor of preventing a vote) because he "got the message" this summer that Americans want the border secured before we "go on to the rest." That's the beauty of missing the vote. It's a blank you get to fill in as you wish--one day leaving the impression you might have voted against cloture one day, the next day that you definitely wouldn't.
